Johnny Temple

Biography

From the "This Great Game" card back: If you have Temple on your team, you never need to watch your back, because the pesky infielder has you covered. Thus far in a career that’s seen him chosen to the All-Star squad both in 1956 and 1957, Temple has fought with practically every middle infielder in the league. Johnny especially likes scrapping with runners who dare raise their spikes when entering into the vicinity of second base.
