The short bio from the Helmar-R319 card back: In 1964, Tony led the league with a .323 average, and was voted Rookie Of The Year. In ’65 he led the league again, hitting .321. In ’66 he led the league with 191 hits, compiling a .307 average. Last year his average slipped to .289, 8th best in the AL, while he led the league in doubles with 34. The Cuban right fielder has been named to the All-Star team every year, and is on track to break many all-time records. He bats left, throws right, is 6’1” and 175 pounds.
