Del Ennis

Biography

From the "This Great Game" card back: If Ennis keeps it up, he’ll make himself the Phils' greatest home run swatter. In 1955 for the fourth straight year he topped 20 homers, and it was the seventh time in the last eight years for the popular outfielder. The string right-handed slugger enters ‘56 with 233 homers, placing him only 10 behind Chuck Klein for the most in Phillies history.
