He lost Games 1 and 4 of the 1919 World Series, but won Game 7, scattering 7 hits and allowing 1 run. The Reds won the 8th game, and the Series. Last season, Ed won 21 games against 10 losses, while contributing over 300 innings. He bats and throws from the right side, is 5’9” and 175 pounds. Recently, he was placed on an “ineligible” list for his part in throwing the 1919 Series.
