In the 1909 World Series against the Tigers, Babe pitched three complete games, winning all of them, and letting up only four runs over the 27 innings: one of the greatest World Series performances of all time. 16 years later, at the age of 43, in the ’25 World Series against the Washington Senators, Babe pitched one inning, surrendering two hits but zero runs. Babe hails from Tipton, Indiana. This Hoosier throws from the right side, bats from the left. He stands 5’11” and weighs 185 pounds.
