Noboru AOTA (HOF)

Biography

From the Helmar-R319 card back: Combines power and speed, along with a cannon for an arm. Becoming home run champ in ’48 and ’51 has made him one of his team‘s most popular players. In 1950 he had another great season, hitting .332 with 33 home runs and 134 RBI. Always busy at the ballpark, he also found time to steal 29 bases. Stands at 5’7”, weighs 151 pounds; throws and bats right handed. Drove in 4 runs in the 1952 Japan Series against the Hawks.
